We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide essential support to patients in our long-term care facility during the overnight hours. This role requires patience, vigilance, and a caring nature.
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility. * Monitor and record patient vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration). * Assist Nurses with specific clinical tasks as directed. * Respond to patient call bells promptly and provide emotional support. * Maintain accurate and timely patient records and report any changes in condition to the Nurse in Charge.
* Previous experience as an HCA or Carer is essential (1 year minimum). * NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification). * Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * Excellent observation and record-keeping skills. * The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
