A vital role for a passionate and resilient Social Worker to protect and support children and families within our local authority. You will manage a varied caseload, focusing on assessment, intervention, and safeguarding.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families' needs and risks. * Develop, implement, and review care plans and intervention strategies. * Prepare reports and attend court hearings when necessary. * Work collaboratively with other agencies, including police, schools, and health services. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records in line with statutory requirements.
* Social Work England (SWE) registration is mandatory. * A degree in Social Work (BA, BSc, or MA). * Proven experience in a statutory Children's Social Work team. * Thorough knowledge of relevant child protection legislation and policy. * Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
