We are looking for a passionate and friendly Barista to join our bustling city-centre coffee shop. The ideal candidate loves coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, following established recipes.
* Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment.
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately using a POS system.
*Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating area.
* Educate customers on coffee bean selections and brewing methods.
* Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (6+ months preferred).
* Deep knowledge of coffee preparation and latte art techniques.
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
